Our code helps spread peace and security throughout the world. It enables treatment programs for the sick and the ones in need and runs to create jobs, prosperity and provide education to millions. You can find it building marvellous machines that make ordinary things we take for granted, like stick-on labels. It assists scientists in finding solutions to the challenges of our time. We love software. We love what our clients do with the software we build. To us, it is a means to leave the world a little better than we found it.

Our Future

There is no such thing as our future or your future for that matter. There is only one future waiting all of us to make it happen. At Gerger, we know that our future depends on yours. We know that through collaboration we can help each other to build a better one. However don’t worry, from where we are, it couldn't be any brighter.

This year, we will launch a source code version control system for PL/SQL. There are a lot of source control systems: CVS, SVN, Mercury, Git to name a few. However, there is no source control system that integrates tightly to the Oracle Database and allows PL/SQL Developers work just as smoothly as any other programmer. Since we code a lot of PL/SQL (we are developing a Web Framework for PL/SQL Developers after all), we were really hurt by this predicament. Instead of complaining, we decided to take the matters into our own hands and built a beautiful source control mechanism that integrates seamlessly into PL/SQL. It even has PL/SQL API’s. It does away with saving packages to local hard drives, or any client side activity. It makes real versioning and branching of PL/SQL code possible. Testing and Quality Assurance Engineers fall in love with it instantly. It’s all PL/SQL, all standards based, all smooth.
